Just got my first gun that's worth shooting further that what the indoor range at Surplus City can offer me, so I'm looking to join Magnolia in Byram. I was hoping to go over there and shoot on my day off tomorrow if the process is that short. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the tip, did that yesterday. No response yet, I suppose I am just too impatient. Just wanted to make sure I had a way of getting over there tomorrow to shoot my new toy.

To join you have to go through a mandatory safety course, it's basically a walk through of the range and the rules. I guess Subgunfan holds them when there are enough new members wanting to join. Unfortunately for you, the last one was held Sunday, so it will be awhile before another one comes up.
