The Southwest Gun Club will host a HP Service Rifle Match this Saturday, April 3, 2010. Sign in will begin at 8:15 and the match will begin at 9:00 am. The match will be held at the 600 yd range in Bogue Chitto.
The course of fire will be the NRA HP 50 rd match. Rifles suitable for this match are the M 1903, M1 Garand, M1A, or AR 15 type rifles.
Shooters who wish to fire an 80 rd match will be given that opportunity if we are able to pair you with another shooter who is also firing the 80 rd course; all shooters will be responsible for working a relay in the target pits. You will need a minimum of 60 rds for the 50 rd course or 90 rds for the 80 rd course. Match fees will be $10 for adults and $7 for juniors.

Ammunition will be available for the match only:
.223 Prvi Partizan match ammunition will be available for .45 per round
.30 cal ammunition will be available for .40 per round for those firing M1 or 1903 rifles.
All brass remains club property.
You will need rifle and sling, shooting mat, shooting coat and glove are permitted, eye and ear protection are recommended.
Please contact me if you are interested in coming to the match; I will notify all who contact me if there is a cancellation due to weather. If you need directions to the range in Bogue Chitto, MS, contact me and I will send you directions.

Will do, we will have enough on hand. I am going to check the weather forecast today and send the initial email to the "HP league" list. If anyone here at MS Gun Owners wants to be added to the SW Gun Club HP rifle league list, please send me a PM. I will only send emails to the list to announce rifle matches and confirm or cancel them as the case may be.
