Springfield XD.40. Picked it up yesterday afternoon! I kept flip floping between it and a Rock Island 1911 Tactical .45. For some reason the shop I ordered the 1911 from could not get one in. I guess it's because they had 3 RI G.I.'s and a few other 1911's in store.
So I looked at another shop by my house and found a Springfield XD.40 with XD case and kit.
50 round box of American Eagle & box of Hornady HP's. I know the shop owner and salesman. They took it on a trade for a XD.45. They sold the .40 to him a week before. Salesman showed me the paper work. $400.00 out the door. So i think it was a nice deal. :rambo: :gun2: :0023:

Now if I can get PHOTOBUCKET to work for me. :pullhair: I'll get some pictures posted.
I changed it. PHOTOBUCKET is what I ment.

Good find - I picked up a new XD compact in 45 a while back. Have enjoyed it thus far.
I could have got a XD.45 compact for the same price. But it had a little more wear on it than I liked. It fit my hand o.k. My little fingger was at the edge of the mag. And I think you can get mag extenders to cure that. But I went with the .40 instead.

The compact I got came with both mag options. I like the full size mag when target shooting, but the shorter one makes it nice if you want carry or put it in the console. At the time I got mine, Springfield also had the promotion going for an extra 2 mags and mag holster which was nice.

Okee Dokee - first of all, congrats on the new acquisition - a very sweet firearm

Secondly, I'll be working the coast next week, so where'd you do the deed? I'd like to stop by and see what they've got.

:thanks:

I just ordered a Pearce grip extension for my XDsc for the lil 10 rd mag and will let you know how it works.
I was in a gun shop over here at work in Odessa, TX last week and ran across the pearce grip extension in there. I picked one up to try on one of my XD9SC flush mags. I'm gonna try it out when I get back home.
