I put a Hogue monogrip on my Ruger Blackhawk .41 mag. I know a lot of folks don't like the rubber grips on wheelies, but I have shot and will continue to shoot this baby a lot. My hand swallowed the wood grips. The hogue fills my hand much better. The recoil didn't bother me with the wood grips, but the new grips make it even more fun to shoot. I recommend them if you have large hands and your revo grips are less than what you want. Here is a phone pic:

Here's a compromise. Get a nice pair of wood grips for display, but switch them out for the rubber when you go to shoot.

I loved the hogue grips on my GP100 and use these for display/short range sessions.
