I "follow" a lot of companies of Facebook that are in the guns/shooting/reloading industries. Everything from local pawn & gun shops, to large companies (Henry, CVA, S&W, etc), and everything in between.

One company I follow that deals in reloading supplies is called Powder Valley, Inc. They are currently running a 12 Days of Christmas contest, giving away items by different manufacturers each day, i.e. Barnes, Sierra, Nosler, Goex, Alliant, etc.

I received a message today that I'd won the Sierra Bullets giveaway for 3 boxes of Sierra Bullets, and to call Powder Valley and let them know what I wanted.

Unfortunately, they were out-of-stock on the 0.458" bullets I was gonna load the SOCOM with, but now I have some FREE 0.429" 240 grain JHPs headed my way for my .44 Mags.

If you "Facebook", it doesn't hurt to "follow" them. You never can tell, you might win. I did.

I used to follow companies but then my "news feed" became so clogged with ads and promotions it kept me from seeing anything else.

My prize package came in today via UPS.
3 boxes (100 count each) of .44 caliber 240 grain Sierra JHP bullets
2 Powder Valley can-koozies, and a Powder Valley sticker.

On their website, these bullets sell for $26.59 per box, so it's like getting $89.72 for totally free ($79.77 + $9.95 s/h). Not counting the can-koozies.

Nice. I follow a few, maybe Kimber, S&W, or Ruger will give some guns away.

Or Gibson or Fender will give some guitars away.
