Heres the question, then Ill give you the "why for". Does your cover garment for IDPA have to cover your weapon and its holster entirely?

Heres the why for. I have tried the 5.11 vests on and they are not long enough. The bottom of the holster or the muzzel of the pistol (depending on the set up) would be seen.

Anybody know of anywhere in Memphis or Tupelo or anywhere in between that sells vest?

I would think any criminal with a keen fashion sense would shoot the hawaiian shirt guy first hahaha. Not that the safari vests are stylish.

how about one of those long t-shirts like the street thugs wear. It covers down to the knees.

Seriously though, I like a "fishing shirt" untucked. you can get long or short sleeve and they are light weight to wear. I get mine from Academy, but most sporting goods stores and even WW has them down here.

exactly. I prefer the longsleeve ones. I have most colors and they wear good. dry fast if you get wet as well.
