I know it is deer season and it is hard to get time to do both but if you get the chance those who fish need to try and get out. The trout are getting stacked thick in the back bays, rivers and bayous and are hungry. My buddy and I have been catching "a lot" of trout and a lot of good trout too. Just this morning in all the wind we caught well over a 2 man limit. We had decided to keep nothing under 14" so we threw back untold numbers of 13 3/4" trout and still had 17 trout over 15" with half of those 17" or better. My buddy limited out yesterday by himself and 3 of us caught a 3 man limit one day last week. If y'all get the chance and need some fish for the freezer they're there.

If we don't get a bunch of rain it is only going to get better as we head into winter.
