I keep seeing the same thing with my rifle groups. The first two shots touch then the 3rd is about an inch away with the 4th touching it. What could be causing my poi shift. Both action screws are tight as well as my scope mounts. My trigger guard screw is stript, could that be causing the problem?

I do that some with my AR. My problem is not keeping my cheek weld, therefore I am looking through the scope just a little different. I have shot ten rounds and had two very nice .5 inch 5 shot groups. VERY FRUSTRATING!

The cheek weld is just a personal discipline issue. If you don't keep yoour eye in the same location relative to the scope, your point of impact will change.

There is nothing frustrating about a half inch group. It's frustrating having 2 five shot half inch groups in one ten shot string.
