My amp and stuff finally sold and I picked up my cash today.I then promptly came home and ordered a NEF 12ga w/ an 18.5 inch barrel from buds gunshop, a case, cleaning kit and some shells from midway and some VZ operatorII grips for my 1911 Im excited as hell. Pics upon arrival of SG

Its pretty much a remington 870 pump clone the Bud's Item Number is: 16597 (link) . I got it because I dont like leaving the wife and kids at home unarmed since I carry my 45 with me just about everywhere, we are moving into an apartment and I was worried about overpenetration with the 45 if something were to happen, cause it was cheap with good reviews...and cause I wanted a shotty :evil: , I paid $196 for it including shipping insurance and FFL fees

Thanks for the congrats guys,I had to tell my wife about it ( I'm pretty sure she would notice a shotgun in the house). When I told her there were only 3 more guns on my "shut up about guns list" she told me " Ian, it would be in your best interest to shut up about guns right now."...I did. Funny thing about the "only 3 more" part of that statement, before I bought the SG there were 3 on the list (including the shotty) and technically subtracting one for this gun there should be 2 but there arent, its still 3 and I have no clue how it happened...gun math is weird

Will do...happily,

Midway has 25 round boxes of remington game load ( among other types) shells for about $7 a box so I got about 6 boxes and I will put a couple through it and let you know.Though I would give a heads up on the cheap (ish) ammo.


I just realised that I had excess cash and didnt buy any .45 ammo...stupid does indeed hurt.
