Team Magnolia Multigun Club’s
January Multigun
(1, 2, or 3Gun, pistol/PCC only ok)
January 20, 2017

All of our matches are any gun you want to use. You can shoot the whole thing with a pistol if you want. The only time we will tell you what gun to use is if you are a 3GN member shooting a 3GN classifier and want your score turned in. Other than that, do what you want.

This match will consist of steel and paper targets. No slugs or buckshot required. No rifles on steel targets (only paper) so green tips are ok.

Divisions:
  1. Factory
  2. Practical
  3. Unlimited
  4. PCC
  5. Pistol Only

  • Everybody shoots for $20 unless you are there by 7 to help build stages, and then you will shoot for free.

  • Setup begins at 7
  • Registration begins at 8, closes at 830
  • Shooters’ meeting at 830
  • Hammer down at 9

Dang if only I didn't have a draw duck hunt in the delta every weekend this month. Definitely will be keeping eye out for ones after this month. Been wanting to try my hand at 3 gun now I have my shotgun mostly rigged out. Good excuse to build another AR as well
we shoot every month weather permitting

That's pretty dang awesome right there! Just wish was little closer. But guess good cause I'd go broke buying stuff to compete lol
Well here's the cool deal about 3Gun, and especially TMMG's matches...

You don't even need a belt rig!

As you can see from the stage diagrams, I specifically state that you can place ammo/mags on the tables or barrels along the way. This is intended for PCC shooters whose goal is to not wear a belt at all. But anyone is welcome to take advantage of it!

What that means is that you can shoot anybody's gun too. We do it all the time. One match last year we all used the same shotgun on a stage. As in all, I mean every shooter in the match had the option to pick up and use the "range gun."

In another match, 4 people in one squad shot the same shotgun. Kept it warm!

So now that you know all the options, all you gotta do is fit the match into your schedule.

Man that's great. Don't know why a lot more folks don't come then. I've got a belt rig just no shell holders. Though I can get 10+1 in the gun. Pistol is covered as well. I've got a couple ARs I could use as long as within 100yards. Going to piece together a more 3gun worthy upper pretty soon though.
Also nice doesn't require slugs/buckshot.
Sounds like a great time man, looking forward to making the next one.

For the foreseeable future we will have no shots over 100 yards.

The club has quite a few invictus shell caddies for sell if you're interested.

RESULTS!

Thanks to everybody to coming out Saturday. I hope everybody enjoyed it as much as I did!

If you know Bailey Pepper, give him a pat on the back. He DQ'd on his first stage before he even pulled the trigger (180). He stayed the entire day resetting and did as much work on tear down as anybody else. He is the match MVP for sure!
