A guy at work is selling one since he is building a house and just recently had a newborn. He took good care of it and stored it in his shop. I took it to Bogue Homa Lake today and it seems to run great and is in great shape ( even caught a few white perch off it ha). Its an 05 Kawasaki stx 12 with 100 hours. Thought about maybe taking it to the coast when it warms up and possibly doing some fishing from it. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with jet skis and how many hours can you expect to get from them? Also anyone had any fishing experience from them. Thanks!

Like anything it depends on how well you take care of it. I ran my Yamaha like a scalded dog (wide open!) 8) hundreds of hours across the Rez for 5 years before selling it, still ran like a champ but Yamahas are like that. I put in new sparkplugs every year, gas treatment in a full tank every winter and had to replace a couple batteries. Be sure to flush her out good afterward if you do run in salt water.

Up untill a few years ago I had a 97ish model Polaris and seedoo "racing" type skies. Flat out hall a$$. Bought them from a guy on the coast. And like Hooter said. If you take care of them and the previous owner has taken care of it then shouldn't have any problems. I have no idea how many hours were on ours but it was a whole loooooooooot.
