I'll have to measure it, it didn't take to long to get the shine, started off with a 4" belt sander and kept using finer grits til I got it down pretty smooth and then finished up with the buffing wheel, took me a while to make the sheath, but I am pround of the way it turned out.

it is a great looking knife.

Its just a regular blade with a lot of hours on a buffing wheel, I made this to go with a .50 cal. Lancaster rifle that I built. I want to build a hawk to go with it, does anybody know of someone who can make a hawk head from an octagon barrel, I have the barrel. I could order one but would like to have one made by somebody from Miss., I call this knife my Miss. Bowie.
