Ordered the forms from ATF on 09/09
Received the forms on 09/14
Mailed the forms on 09/15
ATF Received packet 09/22
Received letter from ATF stating that I had incorrectly filled out the forms (couldn't find any mistakes) on 11/27
Received FFL on 11/27 (same day as above letter)

As much as I buy from Brownells and Midway, those discounts will help me justify (in my mind) the $30 fee after 2 orders. Besides, I need a couple of Mosins and Yugos mailed directly to my home....really I do.

I just ordered this to comply with the regs:

Those Yugo 8mm Mausers are great rifles, and have only gone up a little in 3 years ($150 to $180). Send some 198gr 8mm downrange when little 147gr 30cal is not enough...........

Then get a secret PO box, apply for at least 2 more credit cards, have the statements sent to the PO box... yer on the proverbial slippery slope now... oh and another safe. You will need another safe.

Actually Scharfschütze but I didn´t know when I registered with MSGO if the site supported foreign characters... just means "sharpshooter"; but traditionally in Germany, including during WW2 in the Wehrmacht and in today´s Bundeswehr, it is the designation for marksmen employed as snipers. The insignia is the current Bundeswehr insignia for this designation - given to me by a very good friend in the Bundeswehr (now Reservist) who is also a firearms enthusiast and with whom I have shot while in Deutschland...
