Justice Department wants to boost ATF budget to shorten wait for NFA processing

Still BS redefining what a machine gun is to include bump stocks.

What they should do is fight like hell to get the suppressors off of the list which would free up significant manpower for more timely processing of the other items.

Now you know the Government doesn't know how to solve a problem without increasing spending.

I don't like the idea of feeding the ATF more, they have a history of abusing their resources.

If they get the budget increase, they'll just hire more useless do nothing drones and nothing will change other
than that more innocent citizens will have their lives
harassed or at the least seriously delayed waiting for
permission to buy something they never should have
needed in the first place. The BATFE's track record on
this is precisely why I've never even thought about
buying a suppressor and think that the NRA's push
on this badly misguided, who the heck wants to find
themselves on yet another confiscate at will list?
Between the IRS and probably more others than will
ever be known agencies have enough names and
addresses already.
