This is sort of gun related and I'm not sure if it should go in off topic or not, if so I apologize.

Today at work my boss showed up with a couple of lamps and asked if I wanted them ( I said no ) I got to thinking later on about getting old artillery shells (cases) and making lamps out of them but I dont know where to find them or what size would be good for it and I thought " I'll ask on the forum, those guys know everything"....so here I am inquiring about yet another crazy project that will drive my wife nuts.

I used to own two of them, they were made out of 90mm Tank shell casings.
