A little bit more of my weekend is coming out.
Sasha went to Debbie, raised up on her recliner and placed her paw on Debbie's leg until she woke. What's wrong? Sasha went to her cave to be out of the way.
Kayla came back in the ER to keep an eye on me. Twice she saw blood splatter on the glass. The first I landed a good foot on a tech's nose, the second, a well placed foot to a mouth.
Debbie thought about us waiting for her to dress, but then no, get him to ER asap. Our oldest son Jason picked her up and was first to came back to see me. Said I was kicking to save my life with everything I had. Wonder I didn't break a leg in that bed cage frame. My arms were strapped down and I was pulling I-V's out as fast as they could put them in. I was almost black.
Saturday night I woke with my nurse in my face. Said, the doctor would come see me tomorrow. Later she said I had written her a note asking what the doctor thinks is wrong with me. I don't remember it. I had 7 I-V's in my arms and 1 in my leg. Some of the ports were doubled. Had 12 machines going at once. The nursing staff was great telling me what they were changing out, adding or removing. What it did and how it would help me. They would give me shots in an I-V and tell me what they were. I learned 1 fast. The pee shot, can't remember it's name. 30 seconds after the shot I was flooding the bag for a good 30 minutes. Later it was a bottle to pee into. Good thing I had 3 of them on my bedframe.
Tuesday evening the doctor came to see me with a report on my heart cath. We'll have you out doing things asap. You can kayak, fish, chase young ladies, just no smoking or drinking. I said don't think any young ladies wants this worn out body. Well you'll be saving lots of money with no smoking drinking and chasing.
I'm doing better, my arms feel like someone used 60 grit sandpaper on them. I have a few lumps in them that are tight and sore.
