Let my dog out to use the facilities about 11pm last night, and happened to catch a glimpse of this rascal about 9ft off the ground. He was hanging out on the under hang of my back porch. Not sure if he was trying to get out of the rain or going for the birds that have a nest about 15 feet away. I quickly grabbed my square nosed snake negotiation tool and got him to see it my way.
Left him there as a warning, in case he had any friends with similar ideas...plus I knew the kiddos would want to see him. Crazy Night!

I gave up trying to explain that folks been killing snakes here for no other reason than fear or the I word forever, and the snakes are doing fine.

I say kill away. i'm scared of puppies and stray cats...…..

I believe snake doesn't equal serpent. serpent is much more menacing and probably what modern people call dinosaurs
