they have beat this into the ground on the other site.... there is no restriction on what you can deer hunt with on private land..22 cal. and up.....does not matter what you use just use good shot placement...some rounds just don't leave a blood trail, they bleed in side...especally with small calibers....I have seen this first hand.
Legal Calibers in Mississippi
Is .223 legal to deer hunt with? I have read that .22 caliber was not allowed, but someone told me that .223 was allowed. The .22 caliber referred to the rimfires.
