get one of the gold dot SB bullets. they are designed to expand at lower velocities. Start with 8grns of N350 and have fun.. should make about 830fps. so says my book

17.5 grs. of Alliant 2400 behind a 245/250 gr. cast swc is a good load. It was Elmer Keith's favorite. Probably around 1100 to 1200 fps.
