I need to buy a holster for my Springfield XD Tactical 9mm and I was considering getting a Blackhawk CQC Serpa Holster...

Does anyone use this holster and would anyone recommend something else? It's not for C&C, just for pistol match use.

I tried the Blackhawk in IDPA but went to my Galco concealed carry paddle holster. I was losing too much time fumbling with the finger release. Bladetac and Comptac are both good. I just like leather.

Looks like Blade-Tech it is. Thanks for the recommendations. I've actually got a leather holster for my 1911A1 that I've used before.

Yes, another +1 for Bladetech. Got one for my XD-40 and really like it. It can be adjusted to suit you......

Edited to add...... The bladetech like most competition holsters "requires" a STIFF belt. I recommend the CR Speed belt.
