ok guys im diving off the deep end. I am going to make my own bullet lube.

Im gonna have 2 versions
lube doc 1000- good for anything under 1200fps
lube doc 2000- good up to 2400fps

gonna be blends of carnuba wax, ceresin wax, moly,BN,bees wax, and parifin wax
if my math is right i wil have .60 cents invested per stick. hard part is im gonna need some "test subjects" to try it out on calibers i dont load for and give some feed back.

If i did my research right it shouldnt, the high speed one "might" wont really know till i make it. But i really like pan lubing so it dont matter to me if it needs a heat source or not lol. the raw products should start coming in this week so i will whoop some up when they all get here.

Are you moulding it into sticks -- if so, will they have a hollow center to work with the Lyman and RCBS sizers?

my first batch will just so i can tinker with mix ratios. i got a old engine valve and 1inch pvc for when the time is right. Not sure how the "pros" do it but i like my idea.. I took beez wax out of the equation because it smokes like a D9 cat.

well first batch was a flop! thinking i was gonna be awesome and get silcon impregnanted carnuaba wax vs regular came back to bite me in the butt... the stuff wont combine with the other waxes when melted.. = ( gonna get some regular and repeat.

Plus side is my kitchen smells like a freshly waxed car!!

Victory!!!

This is ceresin, carnuba, BN, and XXX

Hammer gets to try the first batch since he is a pan luber.

Note. might have added lil to much BN and XXX.. makes your hands slick as owl poo. Should not need heat but might not hold up on 100+ degree days so thats the trade off.

Sounds good but for us beginners that load in the gargage (grandson took adverse possesion of my Man Cave), how does it store at 120+ degrees. Good luck on your new business venture, bring a box to the next M&G to get some feedback, from top notch experts to us petering around.

if i get a tax exempt i can buy in bulk at dealer cost so i will have 100 pounds of wax laying around and enough BN to coat 700K bullets lol this lube will start melting at or around 120degrees due to XXX in the mix. Once i get the pistol batch down pat i will move into the rifle mix which will have higher carnuaba content([email protected])

This is how I would describe it if i were to market it:
Bullet lube for general purpose handgun bullets with speeds under 1000fps. Does not require heat to apply and remains soft and pliable at freezing temps. Carnuaba in the mix will leave the bore shinny and clean. The Boron Nitride adds extra lubricity(i think i just made that word up?) and has none of the headache that other powders have like Moly.
