Anyone know a local outfit that does m&p trigger jobs? Hot links to a few places online I could ship to, but would like to stay local if possible.

I have checked out burwells site at DB chaffins suggestion. He has instructions for doing it yourself on the site. Just not sure bout doing it myself.

Hammer, I believe you can order an Apex Sear kit for your M&P that's a simple drop in unit. There's a lot of discussion about it over on the S&W forums.

If you want to just give the Burwell "DIY" trigger job a try, I promise it's not hard. I did it myself. Worst case, you buy an Apex kit to replace the things.

You can do a LOT to the M&P trigger without having to ship it off.

How is your post-Burwell trigger? Did you do all of mods he recommends?

I did everything BUT polishing the striker and making cuts on the firing pin stop.

The results is around a 4 pound, crisp (for a striker fired gun) break. The reset is slightly shorter as well.

Overall it turned out great.
