I looked at his instructions also but decided against trying it myself. If you find someone in state post it as I might give them some business also.

If you want to just give the Burwell "DIY" trigger job a try, I promise it's not hard. I did it myself. Worst case, you buy an Apex kit to replace the things.

You can do a LOT to the M&P trigger without having to ship it off.

Let me know if I can give you any more details or walk you through it.

I did everything BUT polishing the striker and making cuts on the firing pin stop.

The results is around a 4 pound, crisp (for a striker fired gun) break. The reset is slightly shorter as well.

Overall it turned out great.
