Hey i did that one time... but i melted the handguard and ruined my barrel.... now i have a new barrel

A 10" heavy with an MGI adjustable gas tube will not last longer that 576 rounds IF you have someone handing you loaded magazines as you drop the empty (to minimaize time between dumps)

It starts droops with gravity before it ruptures. The tube was perfectly contoured with the barrel.

This kind of work makes me a real scientists.

Good post. Looks like they won't be getting rid of the 5.56 anytime soon. If I had an AR, anyone borrowing it couldn't shoot more than about 300 rounds on fully auto.

Wonder what kind of lubricant they used? Can't believe it shoots like that using CLP.
