anybody here own one of these little jewels? 16.5" ported barrel straight stock 44mag. found one t a show awhile back, and it is one AWESOME little carry rifle, put a fixed burris 4x compact on top. final weigh in was right at 6.25 lbs

Don't have one but I got a 20" barrel 44 mag and it is one of my favorite rifles. I could only imagine mine having a 16.25" barrel on it. I'd probably sleep with it. Lol

I have a question tho, does that rifle have micro groove or ballard rifling. Was lookin at one just now for sale but the ad didn't mention it. Its tempting I tell ya! But I want my next 44 mag rifle to be a ruger 77/44. Then a handi and I'd have one in about every action type made.

I like the short malins. 1894p, 444p, the sbl, etc. Need one of each.

1894p has ballard style rifling, i like all my marlins, but really love the straight stock models, got a couple of guide guns, and two straight stock 30-30's and one centennial 444, they all shoot pretty darn good

I had a centiniel 444 a few years back. Sold it like a fool.

Now all I have is my 44 and 30/30 with straight stocks. I prefer that grip as well
