what is the scoop on these little rifles???? looks like a regular 39 except straight stock and heavy 20" heavy barrel, i think i can purchase the gun for around $25o, and it looks like 90% or better, any opinions???
I love all the different models of the Marlin 39s. I have a Marlin 39AS that will flat out shoot and it has never gave me any trouble. I bought it new about 21 years ago. Annie Oakley used a Marlin 39.
$250 for a Mountie is a great deal. Buy it quick before it's gone. If you don't let us know where it's at and there will be a race to see who can get to it first!!!
A 95% mountie would easily bring 400-450 in the right markets. Maybe more. Good score! I want a mountie. Trade ya a marlin 39a for it. Pistol grip and like a 22 or 24" barrel. Made in '47.
