Is it allowable to shoot in sitting position instead of prone, if I have a physical condition -- neck injury -- that keeps me from shooting prone? (I am not an old person, but do have the body of one. :tears: )

In NRA and CMP matches, you can always use a more difficult position, if you have a medical problem. We have an 80 year old member that shoots all standing and he is a tough competitor.

Thanks for the input, Doug. That would be good to do instead of prone and allow the use of the sling. I would think that the sitting position in the slow fire prone stage would be fine as well.
