The results could show that he died of a congenital heart defect or that he was absolutely positively murdered. At this point it doesn’t really matter. His death was just an excuse to start the fire, now that it’s burning nothing short of executing the officers involved could stop it. I’m not even convinced that would stop it.

It wouldn't change a thing. This stopped being about Floyd after the first night. This crisis isn't being wasted.

Although, it would be nice if the accused could get a fair trial involving the use of factual evidence.

This was never about Floyd! It's 2020! Election year and riot time again. All these happenings are being organized from outside these communities. Not everyone participating are paid agitators. They are just the ones delivering the message to primed mobs.

I seriously think the elites are pushing to end the Republic form of government as we know it. They may call it Democratic Socialism, but it will be more akin to Fascism. Privately owned means of production that is "organised" by the state. In short it's a partnership between business and government to decide who will be allowed to compete. You will quickly find them deciding what privileges you have. Most people will not be allowed to better themselves. If you look at it closely, you quickly find the same intermarriage of families running government and businesses. That is what China is now beyond being Communist in name.

Lot of truth in this. Lot of pushing of an agenda--take America down from within.

Sorry, but resisting arrest or not, victimless crimes like selling loose cigarettes, or trying to pass off a fake $20 aren’t an excuse to choke someone to death. That’s a deeper problem than just bad cops though. That’s a problem with our judicial system, and the need to fill our prison systems with as many bodies as humanly possible.

If they can do it for them over something that petty, they’ll do it to us over something equally petty, like not wearing a seatbelt or rolling through a stop sign. That’s what people keep forgetting, it’s not going to stop in some distant community, especially if they keep getting away with it.
It was my understanding that autopsy results show he didn’t die from strangulation or choking? But pre existing conditions brought on by the arrest. I agree the officer should be charged for his death but get the facts straight. In honesty it may not have been race related. Mr Floyd jus happened to be black. Right is right and wrong is wrong it doesn’t matter the race. Peaceful protests are acceptable but if it goes beyond that it needs to stop. Any race included. White men are continually being condemned in this culture we live in. There is no more racist group than the Ethiopian race of people.

There are conflicting autopsy reports.

You could get better fact reporting yourself.

The toxicology report is back. Floyd had fentynal in his system at time of death. It also mentions resent methamphetamine use. Doesn't say what the level was or if it was or was not sufficient to cause overdose. Just a reminder. Fentinal is associated with sudden deaths. It seems between conflicting autopsies and public outcry for a felon, it's difficult to predict what charges will stick legitimately and which will be handed down by a rigged system. Based on the facts this does not appear to be racially motivated. The waters are definitely muddied on this one.

Based on another complaint against him, Chauvin had no business being in a uniform. He and his partner pointed loaded guns at teens that had been tagging each other with Nurf guns. The officers knew they were Nurf guns. The teen gave fake news everything they wanted because he attributed his surviving to being white and privileged. :groan: Too soft minded and conditioned to see this is not about race. The white boy was a victim of the militarized police state that is not acceptable.

[Edit]
Found the link! I feel the need to fact check CNN. Chauvin had 20 complaints in 19 years of law enforcement and 17 of those year working as a rent-a-cop bouncer at a club.

Since 2015 the Minneapolis police department have rendered 44 individuals unconscious using the same method that killed Floyd.

I want you to imagine if the police in your home town had choked 44 people unconscious until they finally killed one. You'd probably be mad too.

The leaders of the city knew they had a excessive force issue and did nothing about it. I wish they'd leave the private businesses alone and not kill each other but damn yall.

Memphis is a big town. I'm actually a little surprised that in 5 years there have only been 44 people that needed to be choked unconscious. I say this as a person who's choked a few people unconscious. (Done properly and assuming the recipient isn't loaded on fentanyl, it's not that dangerous.)

I get what you mean, though. There's no reason to choke a person who's already in hand cuffs. That just can't be defended.

I did BJJ for over 5 years. I'm no stranger to blood chokes myself so I know you gotta be choking someone pretty good.

The rioting and looting is just asinine. It's insane what is happening and it's just gonna get worse and worse I'm afraid. Until it eventually heads into something really nasty.

Saw a large guy in a courtroom video program yesterday who was probably north of 250 lbs. He was restrained in handcuffs and ankle bracelet. When the judge pronounced his sentence, he exploded heading towards the judge. Five large bailiffs finally rolled him out of the courtroom before he could get to the judge, but he was still out of control with bailiffs all over him as they went out the door. They couldn't get him down or keep him down.

That's what a lot of people don't understand. Sometimes even a slight built individual can be a handful for two or three officers when the adrenaline from anger gets flowing. It's much worse if they are on certain drugs.

Edit to add: In most cases where an individual fights LE, they are the opposite of trying to control the officer(s) without hurting them. LE have to do so while trying to avoid hurting the individual if possible.

As I pointed out in another post, another autopsy showed that he DID die from strangulation. Who do we believe? The medical examiner who’s job depends on making the department look good and protecting those 4 officers, or the autopsy that was paid for by the family(or lawyer according to 1010, I read family, but same same) of George Floyd, and the same man who was brought in by the family of Eric Garner?

Both are equally biased, in my opinion. Regardless, if the cop hadn’t had his knee to the back of his neck, long after he was handcuffed and under control, the man would still be alive today. People trying to blame it on anything else sound like the sketchy doctors blaming cancer deaths on the ‘rona.

As far as whether it was race related, I have my opinions, but I’ll leave that for a jury and God to judge, unless some other facts come to light.
