jus got a mossgerg 500 A in a trade the other day with a slugbarrel cant wait to shoot it anybody have one or has had one? traded a single shot 10 for it dont think i did to bad

That's what my shotgun is, except the slug barrel. I like mine and have had it a long time.

this will be the first mossberg shotgun for me i got a remington 887 last year love it i jus dint see payen 1000 for a shotgun but thats jus me

You should be well satisfied with the Mossberg. Mine has killed plenty of doves and clays.

all it came with is the slug barrel but jus happen to luck up and my grandpa has an extra slug barrel and and reg barrel i asume they make aftermarket stocks for this gun?

Lots of aftermarker parts. Mine came with a 20" barrel with screw in chokes. I found a rough, used 28" barrel at Gary's in Columbus a couple of years ago for $50. Now I dove hunt and shoot clays with it.

nice ive been to garys a few time im closer to the one in west point from what ive seen they aint to bad on prices

Fella must have really wanted that 10 gauge. I got 870's and a Maverick (made by Mossberg). The mossbergs I've shot do as well as the 870's.

Mine is actually a Revelation which was made by Mossberg for Western Auto.

yeah i guess he did i cant complain about the 887 and for the price its a really good gun the mossberg i got looks great looks jus like a 870 at a glance thinking about finding a thumb hole stock for it
