Which on it is Savage, yours and aftermarket? Looks great. Slingblade turned me on to a .22 with a blue fluted barrel and green stock. I appreciated it greatly but it ain't near that nice. The barrel on that probably cost what we paid for them .22's.

Did you have to remove the pin and cut a relief to get the barrel out or did it come out easily after the pin was drifted out? I have a old stainless 22lr savage laying around along with a old but new gm 1022 barrel cut to 10" so I am thinking of building a dedicated suppressed rifle for a local match shoot. Have a lathe and a mill to make a form 1 intergal can so I have been thinking of doing this for a while. Just need to get off my @ss and get a 22lr reamer.
