This is one of my 1911's. The other is an AMT Hardballer longslide. This one is all original with the two tone magazine. It was manufactured in 1918 prior to 29 Apr. This was prior to the A1 which was introduced in 1924.

Apologies for the cell phone pic, my camera is always at the office.

You have a very nice example! Mine was made in late 1918 and remained all original till it was parkerized in 1984. We should shoot plates sometime!

Wow that is awesome.
It makes wonder if say back in 1918... if someone showed up with that it wasn't much different that seeing a a "space ray gun". It is just so modern for the period.

As I get older my appreciation for such things continues to grow, even though I always liked old things.
