Well, I finished my first build today. It is built on a Anderson lower and a PSA upper.
AR15 Performance 19" barrel
AR15 Performance flash hider
AR15 6.8 bolt
Magpul ACS stock
White Oak Armament 12.5" Varmint handguard
Hogue over-molded pistol grip
Burris 3-9x scope
Burris PEPR mount
Champion bi-pod (on sale at MidwayUSA) I like it so far.

and I have a Velocity 3# trigger en route.

I am really glad I did the "build it myself" thing and I am already planning my next one.
The $9 is all I had left over from the budget I set aside. I am using it for "seed" for next one.

Very nice. I just ordered my trigger this am. So I'm waiting on my ARP barrel and bolt and the trigger. Hope they all come in soon.

I might get to shoot it this summer I hope.

It is already my favorite AR just cause I built it. I was very intimidated at the thought of building it but it turned out to be less difficult than I thought. Now that I have the tools I may try another one (a pistol version).

Yeah having the right tools makes all the difference. I jump at chance to build one either for myself or for a friend. Remember trying to work on them squeezing between my knees and straining. Now I clamp that sucker in the vice and grab armors wrench or strap wrench and blowtorch if need be and no more pulled muscles lol. And good set of punches and blocks is necessity. And yes, it's very very addictive.

ive seen that one before but didnt look at it too close to figure out how it works.. looks good tho.

I used a lower that was a 5.56, should I change the buffer and/or spring? It is shooting great but just do not want to damage the rifle.
