My intent is to buy a gun, try her own for size and fit, yada, yada, and then if I grow tired of her, sell and get a new girl. Sound familiar?

However, it seems I just buy and buy and never sell.

Happen to you?

Really just depends on the gun, if I buy it, it usually on impulse, then if I find I don't like, it will just sit in the case, to me that's tying up $$ I could spend on something I will love. Us po'folks gotta do that. :p

I'm not broke but I am badly bent, still manage to buy one every once in a while. Got to stay away from you vultures who prey on us with the sickness. Soon as Neck can get us building for meetings, we'll hole up in there everytime there's a gun show in town. My wife has volunteered to chain the doors shut until dealers have left town.

I just sold two and bought one. Something's not right about that.
Well... that all depends on the two and the one!

:OT1: I have this problem myself. Just today, I was thinking about picking one of mine to sell to aid in buying another but I just can't bring myself to do it. Instead, I find myself thinking of all the reasons I need the ones I have as well as the one I'm looking at. It's a sickness. But not one I want a cure for. :machinegun:

I have never sold a gun and dont intend to start now. guns are investments and only gain value. If i dont have the money for a new gun i save my money until i do so that i do not have money tied up in it and feel the need to sell it. I own 9 now and can think of several others i would like to have by the time deer season opens again :)

Well, I sold one recently ( guess who to... :bigtu: ), but within 30 minutes, I used the money (plus some already in my wallet ( :( ) to buy another one! I got a problem....

I have bought ?? this yr alone almost all private sale :bigtu:

I have a few things on the list I'm looking for that seem to be hard to find and then I'm pretty much done. Rem 700 300 Win, SA National Match M1A, Maybe an "economy" mode S&W O/U shotgun

Since the stock mkt and 401k aint been the greatest lately I've just invested in guns and ammo...

I laugh at most gun shops I go into....especially on their ammo supply

I try to not buy on impulse...I said try...but if its something that's been on the hit list..I go for it. You should always keep a couple K laying around just in case you stumble up on something

An example for me would be a Rem 700 in 300 Win Mag

One of these days I'm gonna take inventory...

I sold a Ruger Mark II once and regretted it. Got one back

Sold a S&W Model 19 once...for a Freaking Kimber Pro Carry 1911...boy was that stupid....

I have replaced it since with a pretty sweet 686 stainless but that Nickel 19 was a heart-throb....

anyway...the only gun I have no regrets on selling was a Browning Buckmark 22 semi it truly was a POS
