Nothing fancy, just a Palmetto kit on a Anderson lower. Assembled it, cleaned it and took it out back, first round.....nothing, no strike on primer. Reloaded and not another hiccup through 318 rounds. My only trouble is I cant remove the brace, I can adjust it but I cant figure out how to remove it. I’ll search it on the net in a few.

5.56, 10.5” kit.

I’m going to add a red dot, sling and flip up sights.

Why? I have pretty much the same setup. Its a 10.5 " barely any louder than a 16" carbine.

I have a 7" sbr and it makes an awful racket!

I used regular earmuffs while shooting and it was not bad at all to me. I would not want to try it without ear protection though. I’m gonna sight the red dot in today and I moved it back on top, didn’t like the angle mount.

Once you drop below 10.5 it gets horrible.

In a pinch its not horrible to shoot without muffs. To me with a sound forwarder its no louder than the 16" with A2 flash hider.
