After much searching and reading forums, I finally made a decision. Just got back from purchasing a SA XD-40. It came with 2 12rd mags, holster, speed loader, and double mag holder. When I put my hands around it, I fell in love with the way it fit. Haven't shot it yet, but if nothing happens I will shoot it tomorrow evening. I will let you know how it does.

I finally got to shoot it today! I'm getting 1.5 inch 5 shot groups at 10 yards. I could not believe how sweet this gun is! Once the wind dies down some, I will stretch it out to 25yds. I'm hooked on XD. :smile:

Hey longgun60.... Nice looking XD-40 Service model. I just came home tonight with my new XD-40 Tactical model. Tomorrow morning I head to the range to break her in............ And yes guys, I will post my range report on MSGO.....

Tonight was the first time for me holding an XD in my hands.... and I too like the feel. The trigger seems a little heavy, but I am use to 1911 triggers. Tomorrow we will see..............
