This is my "Baby". 1911A1 Custom built 45 Cal. "Wad Gun". The left target was shot using cast 200 grain SWC tumble lube bullets, 10 shots, from 25 yards. The right target was shot using Hornady 185 grain SWC, 10 shots from 25 yards.

This is my XDM-40 cal. The target was shot using cast 180 grain TC tumble lube bullets from 25 yards, 10 shots. Still developing a load for this one.

This is my XDM-40 again. Targets shot from 15 yards, strong arm, unsupported. Like I said, I'm still developing a load for this pistol.

These are my pistols:
Top row: XD(M)-45 (Just got this one today), XD(M)-40
Second row: XD(M) 9mm, XD(M)-40 (3.8)(Just got this one today)
Third row: My "Baby" M1911A1 Custom built, Beretta 92F.
Forth row: High Standard Citation Frame, Victor barrel and sight ramp, S&W Model 22A.

XD(M)-45 are a little hard to come by right now. All of the gunshops that have them on order should have them in within a week or two.
Will_M, Lil ole me built the gun with a little help from a renown gun builder. Match barrel, bushing, and slide. 70 series frame and I did the trigger work.
Captain, I love the 92F. It has a perfect breaking trigger out of the box, but the squeeze is about 5.2 pounds, a little heavy.
Subsonix, the Victor barrel has over a million rounds through it and is still as accurate as it was the day I put it on the Citation frame.

They fit my hand pretty good. Better than any other plastic pistol that I have handled and I am able to maintain my grip while I shoot them.

Went to the range this morning with the XD(M)-45 and the short barrel XD(M)-40.
WOW!!!!
My trigger job was very nice and both guns are definitely "Shooters"
Man, did I have fun pulling the triggers on those two babies. Now I have to work up some good loads for them, although the 45 seemed to like 200 grain tumble lubed bullets with 3.8 grains of Bullseye. It didn't like the same bullet with 4.0 grains of Titegroup.
The little 40 liked everything I put in it.
