After my fall on Tuesday my doctor, wife and daughter told me to take it easy and sit around and rest. I am not one to sit around do nothing. On Wednesday I decided to clean up the old oak stump where we have been burning limbs and paper to get the remnants of the stump removed. After removing the last layer of ashes and sticks, I drug out the tiller and tore up the ground inside the remaining stump ring. I then planted roses. This was a surprise for my wife for our 40th anniversary. Here it is with the roses planted. Thursday I got more flowers and pinestraw to finish up. Here is what it looks like now. My soreness is gone and I feel much better.
