I have had 2 6.5X284 rifles - both shot very well.
Been through the neck turning deal - actually had instruments to measure the thickness of the case body wall --- there will be a thick side and a thinner side (i.e. unless you have rare cases - they will not be the same diameter all the way around) - for hoots, if you can measure that, mark (I used a little file to cut a very little notch on the rim) either the thin or the thick side and when you shoot them always shoot with the thick or thin side up or down - doesn't matter which just always shoot with the cases oriented the same way each shot...........will it make a difference? Good test for you if you shoot long range.....
Now days I have parked the rifles and just shoot ATA trap --- just load shotgun shells on a progressive press and don't think about all that stuff LOL.
