I am going to teach a couple of young men how to make a leather quiver for Boy Scouts
The goal is for them to get their merit badges in leather work
For you guys with bows. I need a few measurements if you don't mind.
The length, Diameter, And what is the best height for the quiver on your back?
do you grab the knock or the shaft when you reach behind you?

Never seen anyone other than in movies use a back quiver. Most use hip quivers now days.

That said I would imagine the knocks would need to be about ear height (off to one side) and grab the shaft. The cylinder would need to be low enough that the arrows clear when kids arm is extended in the draw stroke. Otherwise they will have to choke up on the shaft and that’s not what you want to do mid stroke.
