What oz payload are you wanting to use?

I’ll start out with my own understanding expressed plainly and bluntly.......powder charge is dictated by three things....weight,shell,and crimp style. Weight of payload is the biggest contribution of powder charge while crimp style will dictate whether or not you make a bomb. You can stuff almost any charge in high brass 2 3/4 shells that you can in 3 1/2.......the only limiting factor is if you want to run any kind of buffer/wad column. If comfort is not a factor......don’t worry about the buffering lol
If this data has a load charge under a certain payload of shot then that same powder charge will work under a slug of the same weight.
