Birdsong....impirvous to weather and chemical ..
Birdsong does a great finish although his wait time is pretty long and it's pretty pricey. Duracoat is good and can be done pretty cheap, you can get durabake in an aerosol can and do it yourself, it's easy and turns out nice.

No problem, I have used it quite a few times. It's real easy, prep, spray, and throw it in the oven and your done  . If you do decide to do it try practicing on a piece of metal pipe or an old hammer or something first to get the hang of it

We (JJacobs and myself) do a bit of Duracoating on the side. I'd be happy to help you out if you'd like. Active MSGO members get a 20% discount. I don't want to discourage you from trying it yourself but there are some prep techniques that frequently get overlooked by folks who haven't tried to apply Duracoat before. There are quite a few "little things" that really make the difference on the finished product. If you do decide to tackle it yourself and would like some help with any snags you may hit just let one of us know. We'd be happy to help.
