Tell me little about the Garand ..
Its a Springfield US M1. I drove up to Anniston, AL just to pick it out from the CMP. Its a serivice grade from 1943. My wife and I spent hours in the CMP store talking with all the old veterans and younger enthusiasts like myself. My wife says that was the nicest bunch of people she had ever met in her life, and I agree. We both decided on that rifle with the reccomendation of the CMP armorers and the local regulars at the store....Its a real gem. I need a Springfield bolt for it to be correct grade, its got an HRA bolt now. Anybody wanna do any trading (laughs).......

Cottonmouth, it is a Coastal. I spoke with you over at THR about Coastal briefley while I was waiting for my F4 to get here. Im bkjeffrey at THR. Ive been shooting the Coastal LRT 7.62 on my AR15s via thread adapter with good results, Id like to hear what a 5.56 suppressor sounds like vs a 30 cal on a 556.

Man, that SBR is sweet! What's the specs on it?
7" 1-7 twist barrel, pistol DI gas system, Tungsten H buffer, Heavy duty extractor and Woll extractor spring.....thats about it other than the stuff you can see. I painted it with KG Gun Kote in Satin Dark Earth.

Thanks!
