Been wanting to replace my 38 revolver home defense gun with something that had a little more firepower. What I really want is a XD 40. But I wanted a smaller framed gun and something with less recoil so that it is comfortable for my wife to shoot. So I started looking at 9mm, but couldn't see the need for two XDs one in 9mm and one in 40.. Well I think I found the perfect compromise.. I picked up a Bersa Thunder 9 from Brandon Gun and Pawn the other day. It was 389.00 and comes with 2 13 round clips and the gun has an accessory rail. It is a little smaller than the sub compact and if it shoots anything like my Bersa Thunder 380 it will be a dream to shoot. Small enough for the wife to shoot, and now I won't feel so bad when I go buy that XD 40 for me.. :thumbup:

Good deal....I was eyeballing that Bersa the other day also....Ole Graham had an older HS2000 in 9mm also that was pretty clean..

I should have known.. And here is a little more info... It it is a Bersa Thunder 9 Compact Pro. I just added a streamlite TLR3 to it also.. Hope to get it out on the range this week..
