The first annual Mississippi F-Class v. Highpower Smackdown will be held at Magnolia Rifle and Pistol Club after the normal highpower match scheduled for 5/12/2012 (so probably at 1:00 p.m.). We will shoot, then discuss the new range, then eat.
Here are the rules:
1. Rules will be discussed on here, then finalized before we start shooting. Need to have some semblance to a regular match, however, taking into consideration the differences in the two disciplines.
2. Camaraderie is mandatory, but talking smack is authorized.
They get to shoot the same course of fire as the Highpower shooters :lol4: Slow Fire Prone, Rapid Fire Prone, Rapid Fire Sitting, & Slow Fire Standing

Slow fire standing would be interesting to watch, seeing as how they can't carry the rifles to the line, let alone stand there & fire it off hand for 10 minutes...
Ok we do a 20 shots for record prone 10 minutes time limit, HP shoots on SR target with 7" diameter 10 ring at a distance of 200 yards with irons and sling. F-Class shoots 20 shots for record on MR-63FC target with 3" diameter 10 ring at a distance of 300 yards with scope and rest. We will spot ya'll 100 yards and take a target 58% smaller.
That'd be lots of gas! I'm also on graveyard that weekend.
I'm hoping to get a day shift job soon, so I won't be able to use that excuse!
Question: How many of y'all sling shooters are shooting 98% or above?
It's going to be a slaughter!
