I just looked at a 20mm round I have on my desk and compared to a 50BMG and I gotta say that even a 130lb+ rifle will still probable knock the heck out of you when you pull the trigger. Cool looking, but I'll take a raincheck on pulling the trigger.
Just for measuring sake,
20mm round= 6.75in long and 1.25in case dia.
50BMG round= 5.5in long and .75in case dia.
That's a huge difference.

Neck needs to buy it, he's been looking for an elk gun. He wouldn't even have to lug it around just set up some where and shoot at elk a mile away. :lol4:

The first two are suppressed;the last one is not. Recoil looks manageable, except for the transport part.

Reminds me of the only time I ever shot a .458 Win Magnum... I was ~20yr old, 5'9" and 140lb. I "borrowed" the rifle from a guy on the next bench who was sighting in for a safari in Africa. "Can I shoot that?" got me a chance behind his rifle....

I pulled the trigger and the recoil knocked me off my stool. As I fell backwards, I tucked my chin to my chest, knees gripping the falling stool. Death grip on the fore end and trigger/wrist of the rifle, I hit the ground with my back, and his hand grabbed/stopped the rifle by the barrel which was now pointed at the sky, my shoulder still behind it. He was smilin' and so was I. I said, "I didn't drop it." and he said, "nor scratch it, neither." and we both said, "Thank you!"

I bet that 20 doesn't recoil much worse than that 458.

Can I send it in to Americas Funniest Home Videos? It would be shoe in to win, and then I could buy the 50 cal. I want and the scope too.

I htought any rifle over .50 must be registered with the Feds as a destructive device.

I'm probably wrong, but I think that is limited to non-sporting firearms only? Of course, this qualifies for that, lol.

"Sporting" means you are good to go, I think, for instance the .577 Nitro Express, the .577 T-rex are, iirc, legal most places.
