Gonna take a friend to a gun show here week from saturday. he wants a rifle and iron sites. what should we look at. mini 14 or 10-22? i assume it will be target shooting 100 yards or less. what you all think?

Cheap to shoot and fun to shoot! Low recoil and noise!!!

+2 on the 10/22!! Can shoot a lot for little $$s ... and they are fun!

+3 on the 10/22 first. He will more likely shoot it more because the ammo will be cheaper. the 10/22 is half the price of the mini 14. He will want the mini 14 later. I have both and like them both. Hope this helps. :2c:
