Been wanting one of these for load development for a long time. Hope to build hammers ranging from mild to wild with it.

Nice rifle. I've had 2 of them wish I had kept the one with the laminated stock, was a great looking gun.

Nice thought you had given up anything gun related.

It’ll be a slow build. I ain’t using anything powder or primer related unless I can replace it quick.

I have one almost the same except I have peep sights on mine. It’s a great woods gun for deer. My favorite load for the woods hunting deer is 350 gr. Hornady XTP with IMR 3031. Lyman load manuals have many choices. If you’re into cast bullets be sure to get the Lyman Cast Bullets manual for it also. For mild loads check out Trail Boss powder. It’s an awesome rifle but you may want to find a good recoil pad so you save your shoulder during load development.

Seems most items are available for reloading if you are willing to pay the price. But I get it.

Since Randy has sold out,my source is pretty much internet. Unless I want to go to bullseye down the road………that’ll will probably be considerably more painful.

You have a supply of Bullseye powder down the road from you???

And yes most of mine is internet, or picked up at shops during my travels.

I don't know how often you're down here (for craft shows and what-not) and I know that Bert at Southern Reloading is only open on Wednesdays, but if you need something and are coming down for a weekend show or something, holler at me. I can pick up stuff from Bert and bring it to you at your booth.

No,gun range/shop down here. About 6 miles from me,close to the Alabama line. I have “plenty” of stuff……I just don’t want to use it……and don’t want to get ass rapped trying to replace it.

Appreciate it.

Dang it now I am pissed bubbat. I thought I had found a supply of bullseye powder that I dearly love.

And yes same here and the reason I haven't ordered any here lately. Been seriously thinking about it but can't pull the trigger.

Don’t get too wild with it, I’ve seen them open from heavy loaded 300’s.
