There's a limited amount of berm space so we are limited on how many targets we can run at one time. each shooter shoots 2 targets...10 shots each target plus sighters..on one stand

aint got no pit like real F class

Like Captain-03 said...ya'll come...we'll make it work

down to 17 or so now
We could actually put 4 targets to a target stand if needed!!

That would work you could shoot the bottom 2 targets and the shooter next to you could shoot the top 2
That's what I was getting at. If you make them taller, you could shoot three.
We can just use a BIGGER tarp................ :)

I thinks if we shoot a string and go down and quickly score and replace targets, and "quickly" get back into position.... a relay will go pretty fast.

Remember, we will need enough target stands (which can be built by the 18th).

I vote for catering. Not that Neck's cooking sucks (it sure don't), catering will take a LOAD off of Neck. If we do catering based on who said they are coming, then no-shows still owe for their food (rain or shine).

If the turnout is high, then only one relay per person. I personally would like to shoot more than one gun. We will have to see how many show up...............

Match Fees: I say $5 per relay with the $$$ going to Neck. Neck is NOT in this for the $$$, but deserves the $$$ because he is the HOST. Not sure what the targets cost.......

Keep your fingers & toes crossed that Mother Nature will deal us a beautiful day on the 18th.................

The main issue is the width of my 100 yard berm..it limits the # of target stands we can have up at one time...

remember some of us (me) have trouble remembering which targets to shoot...so keeping track of 4 on one stand might just be too much for an old man...LOL

we could "adjust" and use the other berm which is wider allowing more shooters at one time...its an option

Slngblade is looking into a box lunch or catering from his pals at Froghead Grill in Clinton..

They got good chow

Come one.... come all...I got all day on Dec 18th...hopefully the weather cooperates

trigger still needed work....

Trying to get gunsmith Thomas Bullock and son at Surplus City to come join us

2 bricks wolf match extra just hit the door...I'm set on ammo now
Sandbagging me 'Neck with that, "show up and don't go anal on the set up" and your coming loaded for bear?
Anyway, I plan on bringing that double pop-up, bought used and only set up one time but it's pretty good (don't know how it'll take much wind, Got some tarps to keep us out the mud and tearing up your turf.
The only thing that can make me miss is a last minute work moving some servers. Boss said it was someone else's problem but I can feel some suction since already been in on setting up the circuit.

I'm thinking we will squad the Juniors on their on relay and set them up on a 25 or 50 yard firing line and the adults can coach them while they are firing their strings. I will see Captain today and we will talk about it and post some info.
this sounds like fun...What size target is used.. can you post a copy.. D-451
Here are a couple threads with some additional info to include target, etc ...

Yeah, that's the ticket. Then we can re-enact the campfire scene from "Blazing Saddles".

:blol:
Got my own recipe. You got a side burner on that grill if anyone has a big pot with a lid we are in business.
Could just keep it simple with sausage dogs and hot dogs. Fast and easy.
