Can anyone recommend a lawyer to set up a NFA trust? I found a website that will set you up with a lawyer in which ever state you live in but I don't want to go throught a middle man.

You can go with either a trust or a llc, any lawyer can do a trust but i belive tyrone has done one, he called me to ask about it anyhow

A buddy of mine told me today that he had a trust set up by Mississippi Auto Arms in Oxford for the purchase of a suppressor. According to him, the owner if MAA is a lawyer. I have never dealt with them but by all accounts they are top notch.

I spoke to a lawyer today in Madison that has done several trusts and owns Class 3 items himself. He had a lot of information and I am planning to use him to help me with a trust at some point. PM me and I will give you his info. John

I used Nathan at MS Auto Arms. He will answer any questions you have about trust/NFA process. Once you get your trust you can conveniently buy a can from him I bought 2 from him the day i picked up my trust. Well worth the $200. Its a one time fee, once its set up.

Nothing like having your attorney actually being knowledgeable in trust law and firearms both. Plus once you pick up your trust you can walk next door and buy almost any NFA guns/suppressors you can think of.

I also suggest 2ALawyer, I have personally met him (colawarrior on ar15.com, we are a silly bunch) and he is a straight up trust worthy guy, and a good firearms related lawyer. I hope to do a trust for an sbs with him soon.

I think you can do it yourself with an online form. However I don't trust myself so how much do these people charge. My can is steadily getting more expensive.

As long as you have an email account and are a resident of Mississippi you should call 2ALawyer. There isn't anyone better.
