I already have. Was hoping to go bigger, but a combination of life and spending more than I meant to on vacation in Disney last week messed up my budget. I knew I wanted this one too though, and was bound and determined to buy one before I blew the money on something stupid like groceries, again.

All the reviews I’ve seen or read indicate it’s one of the quietest on the market. I looked at several others, but what sold me was comparing them all on a mk4 22/45 lite, which is what this one will likely spend 99% if it’s time on, and not even being able to tell it was on there(it’s only 2.6oz,) aside from the additional ~7” hanging off the end...

I did two of mine there the same way. Took exactly eight months each. Well worth the wait!!

That is quick, i have had me eye on something lately now just to find some cash.

Thankfully I did ok at Christmas and sold my 43 and a yeti. The yeti money wound up getting spent in Disney.

Purchased on January 24th. Received an email from Silencer Shop this morning saying the check was cashed by the ATF today.

One major milestone down I guess.

A buddy of mine bought the Q El Camino on Black Friday, so his will give me a good indication I hope, since there was roughly only a 2 month difference.

My brother purchased a Q Trash Panda a few weeks ago. It uses their Cherry Bomb muzzle device, so I had to test fit it on my DD Mk18 upper just to make sure it would clear the rail, so I can use it and before I spent money on a couple of their brakes. I went by the Armory with my upper to make sure it would clear, and it BARELY does. Couldn’t ask for a tighter fit.

Me too. I’m probably going to see how we like his and then purchase one for myself. I don’t want to have to use 10 different mounts for everything if we can avoid it. The tax man hit me hard yesterday though so any purchases are a while out.

As far as the flush look goes, from what I’ve read that was one of the requirements for the Mk18 mod 1(or whatever the correct nomenclature is) platform, they wanted the barrel as short as possible(while still being reliable and have decent ballistics) so even with the correct Surefire suppressor it would still be an extremely small package.

So my friend who purchased his on Black Friday, November 24, was approved June 14. So assuming the lag time between purchase and ATF cashing his check was the same as mine, that’s right at 6 months.

I’m exactly 2 months behind him, so hopefully the ATF will send me one hell of a 30th bday present.

I couldn’t stand it and called the atf about mine the other day and they said they were running right about 10 months.

I think a lot of people woke up and realized trump(and congress) doesn’t care about HPA and decided to bite the bullet.

Yeah I'm doubtful. First three were individual so this is my first time dealing with the trust. I started it on my day counter app so now to forget about it lol. Which this one will be easier to forget since I didn't pay for it

I look forward to hearing your opinion on the mask though. It was in my top 2 or 3 I was considering, but the Erector’s weight just won me over.

Any of y'all have experience with the AAC halcyon? Considering that as my next rimfire can, I like the cost, modularity, and sound suppression seems to be pretty good.

I’m just still hesitant to buy anything Remington has touched. May get a good one, but it also might not exist in a couple years.

Yeah, I'm a little hesitant because it's AAC, but also because they were teasing a QD system almost a year ago and to my knowledge it hasn't surfaced.

I’ve been listening to Kevin Brittingham’s podcast lately, and from what he says about how things were run by Remington after they bought out AAC, I’m not surprised. They’re not at all worried about doing anything with AAC except enjoying the benefits of the name.

Granted, he was also fired by Remington after the buyout, sued them and won, so he may be a little biased. But if you look at what they’ve done with the brand since he left, there has been no innovation and very few new suppressors in years, so I’m inclined to believe him.

I got hung up in the fbi check for 2+ months. Three different examiners all approved on the same day.

Any idea why? I did mine as an individual in January and I’m a little antsy.
