I bought a Sparrow in July. They didn't even cash the friggin' check until 9/3. If I'm lucky I will get the can by next July.

My eform1 was submitted 7/28 and approved 8/12.

2 weeks, twoooooooo damn weeks! What the hell is going on with the form4s, Mr. ATF man???????????

Prints mailed off today. Hopefully they’ll be accepted

They will be so long as you filled it out right. They don't care about the actual prints you took, they have much better ones already on file. It's the FBI, not the ATF, that does the actual background check and they never get those cards. The cards are more of a formality these days with computers, NICS, etc. That's why they no longer require CLEO sign-off, just simple notification.

Fired off two more eform1s. SBR and suppressor.

I'm still waiting on a form4 suppressor bought in July to be approved. I probably won't get it until next July. I don't even care. I'm having too much fun rolling my own! 😎

Part of the new system upgrades was you are supposed to be able to upload prints electronically. Is that part not ready yet?

Dang. I’m at about 4.5 wks on my latest Form1. My last one only took 2.5 wks.

I saw it coming. I predict the eF4s are going to push the eF1s out to three months instead of 2-3 weeks.

I think I'm at 13 months in on a paper F4 (trust). I don't even want the suppressor at this point. It's actually been 15 months because it took Silencer Shop TWO MONTHS to get my paperwork to the ATF for an in-stock suppressor.

F1s are still being approved. You just have to know what to say or, more accurately, what NOT to say when they start asking questions about parts, materials, etc. I'm about to fire off 2 more F1s, both for suppressors. We'll see how that goes. I know I'm gonna miss the 3 week turnaround we had before F4s went electronic.

Paper form4 submitted May of 2021, check cashed July 2021.

I just got an email today saying my stamp is in and to come get my suppressor. 16 months wait for a $200 stamp on a $300 can. Just wow

The NFA should go away completely. Sure the rich dudes with huge machine gun collections won't be happy about the value of their guns taking a hit, but that's a small price to pay for the restoration of our constitutional rights.
